Plainfield Music Store is a dealership specialized in the selling of domestic and foreign publications of sheet music in print for US sales. Plainfield Music is one of the few metropolitan establishments left dedicated to bringing sheet music to the public with service and expertise that are hard to find. Known for finding what is “in print” with ease, Plainfield Music will help you find those “harder to locate” publications when the need arises. We currently operate a retail store located at 120 North Ave, Plainfield, NJ 07060 and handle online orders via our website www.plainfieldmusicstore.com. 

Shipping & Delivery

You can trust that your order will be quickly processed and safely delivered. Here at Plainfield Music we use the USPS and UPS for all domestic deliveries.

We can ship products anywhere in the United States or Internationally using the shipping method of your choice. When you place an order we will estimate delivery dates based upon the availability of your item(s), shipping method selected and your shipment’s destination.

Items in stock will typically ship out in 2-3 business days.

a. Shipping Charges

Our shipping charges are determined by the weight of your order, shipping method selected, plus a handling fee (excluding applicable sales tax).

b. International Orders

Some products cannot be shipped to international destinations so please submit a message to us from the Contact Us page if you would like to discuss international ordering options.

Plainfield Music Store does not distribute or sell your personal information, which includes your name, email address, payment information, shipping and/or billing address, or phone number to anyone. We process your credit card through a secure and encrypted process (SSL Signature Algorithm: SHA-256 with RSA Encryption) in order to keep your information safe and secure. When shopping with Plainfield Music Store you can feel confident in providing us your information.

This website uses Google Analytics to help analyze how users use the site. The tool uses “cookies,” which are text files placed on your computer, to collect standard Internet log information and visitor behavior information in an anonymous form. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including IP address) is transmitted to Google. Return / Refund Policy

Sometimes we order the wrong items, or find it just really isn’t what we need. No worries. Here at Plainfield Music we have a simple enough return policy. ALL returns must be made within 2 weeks of the initial purchase. Buyers agree to pay the cost of returning the items (if returning the item by mail), and will be credited for the item(s) once they have been returned. Item(s) should returned:

     • With the reciept
     • Including a reason for return
     • In saleable condition (no significant damage, and absolutely NO markings anywhere)

If returning item(s) by mail, please include a note indicating how you would like to be credited. We offer store credit to be put towards a future purchase, or we can do a return on your credit card (Note that if ordering from the website, any existing store credit cannot be applied to your purchase). Please know that we do reserve the right to charge a re-shelving fee should the item or items being returned be marked or show any damage. You will be notified before your return is processed should the need arise.

In the case of something that may have been our fault (no one is perfect) we agree to pay the cost for shipping the item(s) back to us. Customers can receive either a store credit or a refund to the credit card used for the transaction.

We accept VISA/MASTERCARD/AMEX/CASH/MONEYORDERS. All transactions are processed in US Dollars.

 

Reviewing / Completing Orders

If you have placed an order and wish to review that order please click on the "Orders & Returns" link at the top of the home page. You will then be prompted to enter in your order information. Once you have done so, you will be able to review your order.

To complete your final order, you will need to click the "Place Order" button at the end of your checkout process.

Updating Account Information

At Plainfield Music Store you may checkout one of two ways. You can either make a purchase as a guest or you can also set up an account for an easier and faster checkout process. Once you have set up your account, you may update this information by clicking on the "My Account" link at the top of the page. You can save your billing and shipping information as well as keep a wishlist for future purchases.
